I had hoped to take advantage of the 20% discount offered by the University of my Choice, but there seems to be a hitch, before my application can be considered, I must send in my transcript from my alma mater to them. So, I applied, on line, my university insists all transactions must be done on line. My enrolment advisor is on my case to submit.
However, my alma mater insists processing of transcript will take up to four weeks, which is before postage, why? This is very disheartening, for something to be processed on line and it would take up to a month to process, hmn, Naija!
Anyway, I thought I could use the option of the alma mater sending it online, but enrolment advisor insists it must be a sealed package sent to the school.
No, I will not be discouraged, I will press on. It is just a bump in the road, and I will drive over it.
So, start time is now March, this will give me an opportunity to prepare materially and psychologically. You see, all things work together for good for those that love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose.
A man of God once told me if the Lord asked Him to do something and he sees no obstacle, he will become worried.
About how I took a leap and am totally trusting Him that I will soar or He will catch me

My Leap of Faith
It was during the miracle service
on Sunday, the pastor had just finished preaching, that for you to receive a
miracle, you must trust God and realise that only He can do that which you
cannot do. Then the image comes to you,
including the sound, May 2001, NYSC camp in Ipaja, on the parade ground, the
platoon commandant, calling out ‘lep high! Lep high! Lep high! (a corruption of
left right!) And it came to you,
suddenly, without warning, akin to an epiphany, you have been marking time!
Marking time, waiting for
everything to be just right, for you to get more money, for your hubby to get a
better job, to have all the kids, for all the stars to align right, for the
constellation to be in sync, for as the economists will say, for ‘other things
to be equal’. Then you realize, the time
will never be right, other things will never be equal.
Other things will never be equal,
and you know, in your heart, like the still small voice of your Father
whispering to you, child, trust me. You
must take that leap, take the leap of faith. Two things will happen, you soar,
or you fall, but you are assured that He will catch you. Both ways, you win,
and He is glorified.
So I have taken the leap, the
leap of faith, and I have applied for my third academic degree, a doctorate
degree in Business Administration, and I am so excited, it is a new level of
faith for me.
This blog is equally a leap of faith, I do not know how often I will post, but I will. This will keep me accountable, to my journey and to this blog.
